Question
Experiment 007 / Shape selective seeing
ApertureField
Two L-pose hands establish an optical field. Keep middle, ring, and pinky closed, then choose refraction, pixelation, or blur without sending a frame anywhere.

Optic contract
Field before filter
- Index stays extended; thumb shapes field corner.
- Crossed corners stay ordered and render as two triangles.
- Thumb-index contact collapses one corner into a triangle.
Ready. Camera permission has not been requested.
Experiment record / 007
A field must earn its boundary.
Hypothesis
Index extension, anatomical corner order, temporal confirmation, and explicit release can make a local effect feel caused rather than pasted on.
Optics
- Refraction layers offset source pixels by aperture tension.
- Pixelation maps area to cell size.
- Blur maps area to radius.
- All rendering stays Canvas 2D and on-device.

- Release

- Cooldown

Not yet proven
Crossings, glare, sleeves, jewelry, rotations, varied hands, low light, and mobile camera quality still need physical measurement.
Provisional keep
Keep optical selection separate from hand tracking certainty.
Fixtures make failure visible; physical-camera evidence must tune thresholds before product reuse.
