Method / 007

A field keeps its anatomy.

Aperture Field derives a local optical boundary from two index-thumb pairs. Geometry is measured before Canvas receives a field; invalid evidence remains inactive.

Anatomical corner order

Corners retain hand anatomy: left index, right index, right thumb, left thumb. Crossing is not repaired into a false rectangle; Canvas clips the bow-tie as two triangles.

A thumb-index contact duplicates its midpoint into existing slots. Signal stays four-slot; rendering sees a triangle. Activation uses contact ≤ 0.075 palm scale, continuation ≤ 0.12.

Area, time, then optics

  • At least two of middle, ring, and pinky remain non-extended: ≤ 0.78 on entry, ≤ 0.86 while active. This excludes clear span/open palms while tolerating one noisy fingertip.
  • Four corners need area ≥ 0.18 palm-scale² for 260 ms. Triangle gets 68% equivalent-area threshold; continuation allows 0.12.
  • Release 120 ms and cooldown 220 ms prevent a flickering field.
